Visionary Design Academy (VDA) is the education brand of Global Visionary Design Pty Ltd (GVD) and the official delivery platform for the DICE Program, a comprehensive design and innovation curriculum developed by The DICE Foundation Ltd, our not-for-profit research entity.
Unlike short-term workshops or holiday programs, VDA offers a purpose-built and academically grounded learning system that is inspired by the Australian Curriculum and aligned with global creative-industry standards.

WHAT IS DICE
DICE is a structured innovation-education system for learners Ages 5 - 18, including four design streams: Fashion design, Digital & Graphic design, Architectural design, and Creative Coding. Through a structured, age-appropriate learning path, students start with basic aesthetic awareness and gradually develop core abilities such as breaking down problems, understanding needs, and creating practical solutions. Along the way, they build a professional portfolio and gain real project experience, learning to apply design skills to everyday challenges in the real world.
FASHION &
ACCESSORY DESIGN
Students deepen their fashion skills through garment construction, upcycling, fashion history, and digital design. Each term builds technical ability and personal design identity through portfolio-ready projects. The course emphasises creative confidence, sustainability, and professional presentation across all four terms.
DIGITAL MEDIA &
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Students dive into digital storytelling, branding, animation, and design software while developing their own creative style through real-world briefs. The course integrates professional training in digital media, including branding, animation, publication, and web design, guiding students to ultimately master professional digital media skills and develop a strong visual communication portfolio built from authentic, industry-based projects.
SPATIAL &
ARCHITECTURAL
DESIGN
This program mirrors real-world design studios with projects in architecture, planning, and sustainability. Using tools like SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD, students develop spatial thinking and problem-solving skills as they tackle complex design challenges. They build a professional portfolio and gain solid preparation for university-level architecture and design programs.
CREATIVE
CODING
Students explore programming as a creative language to build interactive artworks, generative visuals, and mini-games while discovering how code powers creative industries. The program then expands these foundations with professional creative-tech tools used in design studios, motion graphics, digital installations, and interactive art.
