VDA’s Community Workshops are welcoming, hands-on creative sessions designed for both adults and young creatives to explore new skills in a supportive studio environment. Each 1–2 hour workshop is led by experienced facilitators and focuses on practical, guided learning — whether you’re sewing, painting, crafting, coding, designing jewellery, or exploring digital tools.

Workshop OneFine Arts Workshop
The Fine Arts Workshop is a hands-on creative studio designed for children, youth, and adults who want to explore and develop their artistic skills in a supportive environment. Across painting, drawing, and craft sessions, participants experiment with a variety of techniques and materials while building confidence in visual expression.
In The Colour Studio, participants explore acrylic painting, watercolour techniques, and textured or metallic canvas artworks. The Sketch Society focuses on observational drawing and fundamental sketching skills that strengthen understanding of form, line, and composition. In The Craft Alchemy Studio, participants work with tactile materials such as UV resin and air-dry clay to create unique handcrafted pieces.

Workshop TwoThe Beauty Studio
The Beauty Studio offers hands-on workshops focused on professional nail care and gel manicure techniques. Designed for beginners and those looking to build practical beauty skills, participants learn the fundamentals of nail preparation, gel application, shaping, and finishing while gaining confidence in performing salon-quality manicures.
Across three progressive sessions, participants begin with Self-Gel Manicure (UV Gel Nails), learning the full gel manicure process and basic cat-eye effects. Gel Extensions & French Manicure introduces nail extensions, structure building, and classic French manicure techniques. The Advanced Gel Techniques session expands creativity with builder gel overlays, luxury finishes, and simple decorative nail art.

Workshop ThreeHome Styling Workshop
The Home Styling Workshop invites participants to explore creative ways to style and personalise their living spaces through hands-on decorative projects. These sessions focus on simple, elegant home décor techniques that combine creativity with practical craft skills.
Participants can take part in workshops such as Flower Arrangement, where they learn the fundamentals of floral composition, colour balance, and arrangement techniques to create beautiful decorative displays, and Candle Making, where they explore the process of crafting handmade candles using different scents, colours, and moulding techniques.

Workshop FourSwitch & Stitch Fashion Studio
The Stitch & Switch Fashion Studio is a practical, hands-on workshop focused on basic sewing skills, garment repair, and simple clothing alterations. Designed for beginners and hobbyists, these sessions help participants build confidence using sewing tools while learning how to repair, customise, and extend the life of their clothing.
In The Art of Everyday Alterations, participants learn essential skills such as hemming jeans, repairing small holes with hand-stitching techniques, and adding simple darts to improve the fit of garments. The Open Sew Studio – Community Sewing Session provides a relaxed, collaborative environment where participants can bring their own sewing projects and receive guidance and technical support from an instructor while using the studio’s sewing equipment.

The Pixel & Code Studio offers interactive digital workshops that explore how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and creative coding can be used in everyday life and business. Designed for beginners and curious learners, these sessions provide practical, hands-on experiences that introduce participants to modern digital tools in a clear and accessible way.
In AI Everyday Lab – Creative Coding for Daily Life, participants learn how AI tools and simple coding concepts can help with everyday tasks such as creating personalised planners, generating ideas, organising schedules, and designing digital content. AI Business Accelerator – Smart Branding & Creative Automation focuses on entrepreneurs and professionals, teaching participants how to use AI to support branding, marketing, and workflow automation.
