VDA’S DESIGN
EVENTS
Creative events with endless possibilities.
At Visionary Design Academy, we bring students together through creative hands-on activities and trial classes. We regularly host open days, workshops, showcases and themed events across fashion, digital media, architecture, and emerging technologies, offering students unique opportunities to explore, create, and connect.
OPEN DAY 2025
Visionary Design Academy (VDA) held its B2B and B2C Open Day on 15 - 16 November 2025. The event welcomed a range of industry and education partners, including representatives from RMIT, School of Manningham, Whitehorse, Boroondara, and Monash. Many parents and students also visited the campus and took part in hands-on workshops, student and teacher discussions, project displays, and program information sessions.
As a design-focused education centre in Melbourne, VDA aims to offer a different way of learning and experiencing design. The Open Day gave visitors a clear look at our teaching approach, future plans, and four main areas of study, and provided a chance to understand how we support students in developing creativity, curiosity, and practical design skills.
Viceta Wang Fashion Show
Our team recently had the opportunity to attend the Viceta Wang fashion show, which was showcased in the Paris Fashion Show 2025 . Global Visionary Design had the opportunity to collaborate and support the event held at Hotel Chadstone. The event showcased Viceta Wang’s fresh, modern style and her knack for combining clean lines with bold, artistic details. Seeing her newest pieces up close gave us a great snapshot of where contemporary fashion is heading. The Event also raised a total of $72,000 for the Children's Cancer Foundation.
