At Visionary Design Academy, our Holiday Programs offer students a chance to dive deeper into design, try something new, or simply create for the joy of it — all in a fun, hands-on environment.

Each session is led by experienced facilitators and designed around exciting themes across fashion, digital media, architecture, and emerging tech. From AI-powered character design to wearable art and city planning, no two programs are the same.

Whether your child is curious about creativity or ready to extend their skills, our holiday workshops provide the perfect space to explore, make, and connect with like-minded students.

DESIGN AN A LINE DRESS IN 3 DAYS!

Cut, sew and finish your very own custom A-line dress in this hands-on 3-day workshop, 2 hours per session.

FAQ

  • Yes! You have the option to book a single workshop or multiple workshops. Each workshop features a new design project, so attending all four days means your child has the chance to create an entire collection of unique creative pieces!

  • The fee covers all materials, accessories, and expert instructions. Students just need to bring their own lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.

    If you choose the 3 hour workshop, the content is extended and more examples are offered. Each workshop nonetheless covers all content

  • The program is designed for children ages 5 to 8. We tailor activities to suit different attention spans and competencies, ensuring all participants feel supported and challenged.

  • In each workshop, students will complete HANDS ON projects to bring home and show the family. If they join us for multiple workshops, they will have their own personalized collection to take home!

  • No, students must bring their own suitable lunch, snacks, and water bottle.

  • Please pack a lunch, snacks, a water bottle, and an art smock or suitable clothing for creative activities, including painting and crafting.

  • No, not for those joining us for 1 hour.

    Yes, for those joining us for 3 hours. Students will have a 30 minute lunch break during the day.

  • The workshops run daily from 11:00 AM to 12:00noon and 11:00AM to 2:00PM. We ask that parents drop-off their children 10 minutes prior to the start and pick up promptly at the conclusion of the workshop. If an earlier drop-off is required, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

  • No, parents are not able to stay during the program. There are some facilities on-site where parents can wait, and the surrounding area offers plenty of restaurants and shops to explore.
